			<description>&lt;div&gt;Elisa Sabes just completed her third year at California State University, Long Beach where she is majoring in Business Finance, Real Estate and Law. She is originally from Northern California, and moved to Long Beach for college and because she always wanted to experience Southern California.&lt;/div&gt;

&lt;div&gt;Elisa is involved with many organizations on campus such as; the Financial Management Association where she has held the position of VP of Marketing, and member of the executive board for corporate relations, the Student Center for Professional Development&#8217;s Corporate Mentoring Program, Leadership Academy, and the Golden Key International Honour Society. Elisa plans to graduate in May 2009 and pursue her interest in Commercial Real Estate.&lt;/div&gt;
&lt;div&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/div&gt;
&lt;div&gt;Currently Elisa has an internship with Blair Commercial Real Estate where she works part-time. She has loved every moment of her internship, and values all of the knowledge she is receiving through the experience. Her interest for commercial real estate emerged as she got to watch her father develop and manage a condominium complex close to her home in Northern California as a side project from his regular career as an attorney. &lt;/div&gt;

			<description>   October 2008        To say that October 2008 has been a wild ride for investors would be a fantastic understatement. In the first few weeks of October the stock and securities markets have witnessed their biggest drops and spikes in the history of the Dow Jones. The scale of the federal government&#8217;s response at $700 billion is almost beyond comprehension.    Mercifully, the commercial real estate market in the Greater Long Beach area has been relatively stable. To be sure, we feel the turbulence. The emotional uncertainty is not helpful; however, the fundamentals of our market are adding a bit of calm to this storm. While we are experiencing a correction in some sectors, it is moderate and measured.
