Craig Johnson

Craig Johnson currently serves as the Manager of the Long Beach Enterprise Zone. He has been involved in the Enterprise Zone Program since 2000 and prior to joining the City of Long Beach, served as Enterprise Zone Manager for the County of Los Angeles.
A member of the Board of Directors of the California Association of Enterprise Zones (CAEZ), Craig will chair the CAEZ Conference Committee as Long Beach prepares to host the 2008 CAEZ Annual Conference.
Craig has spent the past 17 years in the public sector. Prior to that, he spent five years as a lobbyist for First Interstate Bank of California and two years working for a Member of Congress.
Additionally, he is the Chief Executive Officer of “A Soldier’s Call”, a California non-profit corporation, which supplies wounded Soldiers and their families with retail gift cards as they recover from wounds sustained in combat in Afghanistan and Iraq.
Craig resides in the San Fernando Valley with his wife and four children. He is an active member of the Church at Rocky Peak in Chatsworth and is a baseball enthusiast. He holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Social Science from Westmont College in Santa Barbara.
